Why book your Paris room through Jump In
Looking for a room from abroad usually means unverifiable listings, deposits sent to strangers and contracts you cannot read. Jump In keeps the whole booking in one place, in English, with the same steps for every room.
Jump In is the booking platform
Jump In is where you find the room, send your request and pay the amount due online. The accommodation itself is provided by a City Manager, which is named before you pay and in your rental agreement.
Furnished rooms, one all-inclusive rent
Listings are furnished private rooms in shared apartments, and the monthly rent covers the services listed on each room page — so there are no separate utility or internet contracts to open in your own name.
Booked online, signed electronically
You request a room online, the local team reviews it, and the rental agreement is issued and signed electronically. Nothing is charged while your request is being reviewed.
You see the amounts before you pay
The first month of rent is paid online once the agreement is signed. A separate Booking Service Fee (3% of the first month of rent paid online + €0.25) is added to that online payment only. The administrative fee and the security deposit are paid at check-in to your City Manager, as set out in your agreement.

Student accommodation in Paris: what to know
Finding student accommodation in Paris
Looking for student accommodation in Paris usually means comparing dozens of listings, chasing viewings from abroad and assembling a file before you even know whether a room exists. Jump In works the other way round: the rooms you see on this page are real rooms in specific apartments, published by the independent local accommodation provider that will sign your rental agreement. You browse them, you request the one you want, and the local team reviews your request before anything is committed.
Jump In is the booking platform. It publishes the rooms, verifies applicants, prepares the rental agreement and collects the first month of rent online. The accommodation itself is provided by the local accommodation provider named in your agreement, and your City Manager in Paris is the person you deal with on the ground.
Furnished, all-inclusive rooms
Each Paris room is a private, fully furnished room inside a shared apartment for female students. One monthly rent covers the services listed on the room page — furniture, utilities, Wi-Fi, cleaning of the shared areas, bed linen, property insurance and common supplies — so there are no separate utility contracts to open in your own name and no furniture to buy when you arrive. The exact list is shown on every room page before you request it.
Because the room is ready on day one, the practical part of moving to Paris is short: you arrive, you check in with your City Manager, and you unpack. That matters most for students and interns who land a few days before classes or a placement starts.
Neighbourhoods currently represented in Paris
Jump In's Paris inventory sits in two areas. The first is the 8ème arrondissement, on Rue des Saussaies, a few streets from the Champs-Élysées and Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré — an eight-room apartment on the first floor with a lift, a fully equipped shared kitchen and two shower rooms. The second is the 17ème arrondissement, on Rue de Pouchet, in the Épinettes and Batignolles area, a smaller three-room apartment close to Parc Martin Luther King.
Only neighbourhoods where Jump In actually has rooms are shown here. When a room is listed as unavailable it stays visible with its next free period, so you can still request it for a later date instead of guessing.
Getting around
Both Paris addresses are inside the metro network, with lines 1, 3, 8, 9, 12, 13 and 14 within walking distance of one address or the other (Miromesnil, Saint-Augustin, Champs-Élysées–Clemenceau, Saint-Lazare, Concorde). Each room page lists the nearest stations and the walking time recorded for that specific property, together with a map of the area, so you can judge the commute to your own campus or internship yourself.
Short stays, semesters and internships
Stays are flexible: the earliest move-in date is set per room and shown on the room page, which makes Jump In workable for a single semester, an exchange term or an internship rather than only for a full academic year. Half-month starts and ends are handled by the platform where the city's rules allow it, and the exact schedule you would pay is displayed before you confirm anything.
How booking through Jump In works
Choose your room and dates, create your account and send your request with your student details. The Paris team reviews it, and if it is approved you receive the rental agreement from the local accommodation provider to sign electronically. To confirm the booking you pay the first month of rent online, plus the Booking Service Fee shown separately at checkout. The administrative fee and the security deposit are not charged online — you pay them at check-in to your City Manager, and the deposit is returned after check-out under the conditions written in your agreement.
If you cannot find the dates you need, message the Paris City Manager from this page rather than sending an application into a void; requests are answered by the person who manages these apartments.
