About Jump In
Jump In is a dedicated booking platform for centrally located shared apartments in Paris and Barcelona, offered by City Managers.
We focus on fostering an exclusive community for student women, providing a safe and supporting environment where you can thrive during your studies or internships abroad.
The concept
Moving abroad for your studies should be exciting, not stressful. Jump In works with City Managers whose apartments are comfortable student homes. Each resident gets her own furnished private room, while kitchens and bathrooms are shared with a small group of like-minded students.
Jump In provides the online booking service; your City Manager — identified in your rental agreement — is responsible for the accommodation itself, including furniture, utilities, Wi-Fi, cleaning and on-the-ground support. You handle your suitcase.
Shared apartments, private rooms
The homes listed on Jump In today are shared apartments in which each resident has her own private room, with kitchen and bathrooms shared between residents. The room type, the shared spaces and the house rules are recorded per room and per apartment, and each listing shows its own.
Female students only
Jump In is built exclusively for international female students. From application to move-in, every resident is a student, creating a supportive, respectful environment where you can focus on your studies and make real friends.
Safe neighbourhoods
The apartments listed on Jump In are in central residential areas chosen with the local accommodation providers for how well they connect to campuses, transport and daily essentials. Each listing shows its public area and transport context before you book.
Fully furnished & all-inclusive
Rooms are let furnished and the monthly rent is all-inclusive. What that rent covers is recorded per room by the accommodation provider — utilities, Wi-Fi and cleaning of the shared areas are typical — and the exact list is shown on the room page before you request it.
City-by-city local teams
Each Jump In city has a local team that visits properties, reviews applications and is available throughout your stay. You are never dealing with a distant call centre — your city manager knows the home and the neighbourhood.
A community, not just a room
Beyond the apartment, Jump In connects you with other residents and city events before you arrive. Moving to a new country is easier when you already know the people sharing your home.
What Jump In does, and what the provider does
Jump In operates the booking platform: the listings you browse, the request you send, the review by the local team, the electronic signature of the rental agreement, the online payment of the amount due at booking, and the messaging you use before and during your stay. The Booking Service Fee shown separately before payment is the fee Jump In charges for that service.
The accommodation is provided by City Managers, identified before you pay and named in your rental agreement. That manager is responsible for the apartment, the room and the services included in the rent, and it is the party that collects the administrative fee and the security deposit at check-in through your City Manager. Jump In is never the landlord.

Looking for a room from abroad usually means unverifiable listings, deposits sent to strangers and contracts you cannot read. Jump In keeps the whole booking in one place, in English, with the same steps for every room.
Jump In is the booking platform
Jump In is where you find the room, send your request and pay the amount due online. The accommodation itself is provided by a City Manager, which is named before you pay and in your rental agreement.
Furnished rooms, one all-inclusive rent
Listings are furnished private rooms in shared apartments, and the monthly rent covers the services listed on each room page — so there are no separate utility or internet contracts to open in your own name.
Booked online, signed electronically
You request a room online, the local team reviews it, and the rental agreement is issued and signed electronically. Nothing is charged while your request is being reviewed.
You see the amounts before you pay
The first month of rent is paid online once the agreement is signed. A separate Booking Service Fee (3% of the first month of rent paid online + €0.25) is added to that online payment only. The administrative fee and the security deposit are paid at check-in to your City Manager, as set out in your agreement.
