Barcelona fills up fast every September and January, and most international students are searching from another country. The rooms published here are individual rooms in four specific Eixample apartments, offered by the independent local accommodation provider that signs your rental agreement. Jump In is the booking platform: it lists the rooms, checks applications, prepares the agreement and collects the first month of rent online.

That means you can secure a room before you fly, with a written agreement and a named local contact, instead of arriving with a suitcase and starting the search on the ground.

Furnished, all-inclusive rooms

Every Barcelona room is furnished and let all-inclusive: one monthly rent covers the services listed on the room page, so utilities, Wi-Fi and cleaning of the shared areas are not separate bills you have to set up in Spanish as a newcomer. Some rooms are private and some are twin rooms shared by two students — the room type, the number of occupants and the size are stated on each listing.

Erasmus, exchange and internship stays

Jump In's Barcelona inventory is aimed at exactly the stays a normal rental market handles badly: one semester, an Erasmus or exchange term, or an internship of a few months. The earliest move-in date is set per room, and the payment schedule — including a half first or last month where the city's rules allow it — is shown in full before you confirm.

The community is female students, so you share the apartment with other international students in the same situation, which is usually the fastest way to settle into a new city.

Neighbourhoods currently represented in Barcelona

All four Barcelona apartments are in the Eixample district. One sits at Plaça del Doctor Letamendi, two blocks from Rambla Catalunya and Passeig de Gràcia; two are on Carrer de Muntaner, close to Avinguda Diagonal and the Hospital Clínic area; one is on Carrer de Balmes, again a short walk from Rambla Catalunya. Eixample keeps you central for language schools, university faculties spread across the city and everyday life without long commutes.

Getting around

The Barcelona addresses are served by metro lines 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 plus FGC trains within walking distance (Provença, Diagonal, Universitat, Plaça de Catalunya). Each room page shows the nearest stations with the walking times recorded for that property and a map of the surrounding area, so you can check the journey to your own faculty or workplace.

How booking through Jump In works

Pick your room and dates, create your account and send your request with your student details. The Barcelona team reviews it and, once approved, you pay the first month of rent online to confirm, plus the Booking Service Fee shown separately at checkout. The Barcelona Manager handles the rental contract and inventory offline. The administrative fee and the security deposit are paid at check-in to your City Manager, and the deposit is returned after check-out under the conditions in your agreement.
